The Asymmetrical Correlation Thesis

Adopted from "Intention-sensitive or irrelevant Ethics?"

Paragraph 4, P.9

"The asymmetrical correlation thesis: intention and action are correlated as ends and means. According to the separability thesis, this correlation is asymmetrical, that is, although the intended ends guide one in choosing this action, the objective properties of the chosen action are not determined by the intended ends."
